To The STATE PARK: When leaving the motel take a right onto Brotherson, left on Live Oak Drive down to Main Street where you take a left. Go to State Street (where Two Jack Gas Station is) and take a right. Keep going right and follow Gaddy Lane till it meets Soda Bay Road. Take a right and The State Park will come up on your left. It is about a 5 miles or 10 minutes drive.
To The LAKESIDE COUNTY PARK with free boat launch and plenty of secure parking: When leaving the motel take a right onto Brotherson, left on Live Oak Drive down to Main Street and continue through Kelseyville. Go straight thru the first 2 stop signs, and after the 90 degree turn on Finley East Road take a right on California Packing Road (after the Pear Packing facility) - cross Soda Bay Road into Park Drive, and you will drive to the County Park. This takes you about 10 minutes.
